Condition: Some minor losses and nibbling to enamels. While this type of ouroboros mourning jewelry are sometimes set with garnet (see examples in the Georgian Jewellery book), in this case, there is high chance the present garnet is a replacement of an original glass compartment with hair. However, the garnet is properly foiled and set within a tight rub-over collet. There is light age-related surface wear throughout.
