Condition: overall in great antique condition. There are some tiny gaps and fissures in the mosaic, and one or two tiles are missing (the center to one of the blue flowers, and a tiny part of the red ground). A few of the mosaic tiles appears to have sunken in, creating some unevenness in the surface texture (see photos). The current present mosaic tiles are all tightly in place and stable; I have additionally asked my jeweler to apply some professional-grade jeweler’s epoxy to the mosaic to reinforce the stiles for years to come (the epoxy was heated and high-pressure blown into the mosaic crevices and interior; it is invisible to the surface and makes no difference in the appearance of the ring). Finally, there is age-related surface wear to the gold.
