Condition: the ring came to me with four of the sixteen quartzes in the halo later brilliant-cut replacements; my jeweler and gem-cutter restored this ring by custom hand-cutting quartz stones to match the surrounding original in shape and facet-style, and setting it to match. The convex ring posterior had two dents that were pulled out and restored by my jeweler. Due to the age, the paper-thin sheets of silver foiling behind the topaz have lightly tarnished and disintegrated. The topaz is well preserved for its age, no significant chips save for some light surface wear and abrasion to the facet junctions (normal for its age). Light surface wear and tarnish to the gold and silver surfaces.
