1900s Antique 14k Old Cut Diamond Flower Cluster Ring

An unusual and ornate American-made c. 1900 Edwardian era ring, set with sixteen glittering Old European cut and four smaller Swiss cut diamonds, weighing about 1 – 1.25 ctw. The design and arrangement of the setting can be categorized as a modified form of the “toi et moi” ring, with the two flower clusters mirroring across a slanted axis of reflection. The curving leaf-like augmentation at the sides, along with the unique double-band shank shows a degree of design novelty influenced by Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements.
