Condition: some surface scratches to the enamel plaque have been lightly filled in by a professional restorer. However, the enamel plaque is complete and original, without cracks or significant later restoration. The gold brooch and loop fittings to the back are later additions. Silver foiling behind the diamonds have tarnished, giving the stones a smoky gray color. Please note the diamonds are highly flawed, most have natural inclusions (feathers, needles, cleavages, cavities, twinning wisps), as well as some side chips or cracks. No diamonds missing and none appear to be replacements.
