Condition: the lower left corner of the crystal has an extra facet; while the facet is sharp and clean, it likely was created to remove a prior-existing chip. The lower right corner of the crystal has a tiny cleavage-like nibble (difficult to spot with the naked eye). The upper left corner of the silver foiling has some tarnish/discoloration. The shank enamel has some tiny spot touch-up repairs. There is age-related patina, tarnish, and light surface wear to the gold and silver. Overall, the details of this ring is well preserved for the age, without any “gumminess” or wearing out/smoothing of goldwork details.
