Materials: natural earth mined diamonds, silver, solid 18k yellow gold (unmarked; tested with electronic gold tester & nitric-muriatic acid)
Workmanship origin: Germanic or Low Countries (Flemish or Netherlandish)
Weight: 3.1 grams
Dimension of ring head: 13.7 x 11 mm
Height of ring head: 5.6 mm
Total estimated weight of diamonds: about 1.15 ctw
Dimension of center diamond: 7.6 x 5.9 mm
Approx. weight & quality of center diamond: about 0.8 ct, probably I1 MN (difficult to grade due to setting style), mostly eye clean, no obvious eye-visible yellowing (under loupe, I can spot some faint cloud inclusions and a feather deeper within the bottom/tip of the diamond, but overall lively and bright),
Dimension of halo diamonds: ten total— 3.6 x 2.6 mm, 3.3 x 2.5 mm, four 2.6 x 2 mm, 2.5 x 1.7 mm, 3 x 1.7 mm, 3 x 2 mm, 2.8 x 2.5 mm (about 0.35 ctw)
Width of shank: 1.5 – 3 mm
Thickness of shank: 0.9 – 1.16 mm
Condition: overall in excellent antique condition. Central diamond is free from surface blemishes; one of the small halo diamonds has a surface-reaching feather/cavity. Some age-related light surface wear and tarnish/patina to the gold and silver. The very back of the shank likely has been sized up in the past.
