Weight: 6 grams
Workmanship origin: German
Dimension of ring face: 23.5 x 20 mm
Height of ring face: 5.3 mm
Width of shank: 1.7 – 4.3 mm
Thickness of shank: 0.8 – 1.6 mm
Condition: overall in excellent original antique condition. Some of the colored beads are loose and detached within the glass compartment. The glass compartment is secured to the body of the ring via a rivet, which is visible at the back; the rivet solder is original to the ring and not a later repair. The initials ‘HLJ’ and ‘JL’ are engraved to the ring head posterior and inside shank. The lower karat 12k is more susceptible to tarnish and oxidation, but any discoloration can be easily removed with silver polish. Some light age-related surface wear to the glass and gold (loupe visible, no major flaws).
