Description
Ring size: USA 4.75, UK I ½, EU 48.5
Materials: natural earth-mined diamonds, green Strass glass, solid 18k rose gold (tested with electronic gold tester and nitric-muriatic acid)
Workmanship origin: French
Weight: 9.7 grams
Dimension of ring face: 35 x 14.7 mm
Height of ring face: 5.5 mm
Diameter of diamonds: 65 total- twenty-four 2.2 mm, eight 1.8 mm, nine 1.6 mm, twenty-four 1.2 mm (approx. 0.765 ctw)
Width of shank: 2-3 mm
Thickness of shank: 1.35 – 1.7 mm
Condition: a small touch of old reinforcement solder to where the shank joins the head (one side only, barely noticeable to the naked eye). The trifurcated knife-edge shank is original to the ring. A very small scratch to the edge and some edge nibbling to corner of green paste. The shank has two small hallmarks to the outside edge, normal for French rings from this period, but the hallmarks are too worn to be discernible. There’s a subtle and neat resizing seam to the back of the shank (not noticeable to the eye). Age-related surface wear to the gold throughout. Overall, in very good and nearly pristine condition for age; the diamonds are all original and tightly set, the green paste glass is in great condition without major flaws.
