Width of shank: 4.34 – 13.2 mm
Thickness of shank: 1.3 – 1.9 mm
Condition: evidence of resizing to back of the shank; a small 4 mm section may have been added later to size up the ring. About three of the halo diamonds have surface-reaching inclusions, which show up as a tiny cavity at the edge of the crown. As noted, the diamond ring face is late 19th c Portuguese work. There’s a faint perimeter of soldered seam to the back of the ring, where the ring face joins the mount/setting. Some general age-related patina, tarnish, and surface wear throughout. Overall in good antique condition.
