Georgian Blue Enamel Pearl Diamond Ring

A handsome c. 1805-1810s Georgian ring, set with a 3.2 mm rose cut diamond against a blue enamel ground and framed by a halo of natural seed pearls, all within a solid 12k rose gold setting and shank. The enamel has been set against a textured guilloché ground, resulting in an attractive starburst pattern. The large square bezel, offset by wide reticulated shoulders accented with looped wire-work, is a popular design for gentlemen’s rings between 1805 – 1815, and was adapted for both mourning and dress rings.
