Condition: overall in excellent wearable antique condition with no notable flaws and no missing stones. The original brooch pin mechanism has been preserved. The bail is an added feature, and not original to the brooch’s manufacture. The style of the bail, however, suggests it too is antique, probably dating to the early 20th century Edwardian period. There is some grime/dirt collected in the crevices of one of the hearts (along the ruby setting edge and the textured heart surface). The optional 14k add-on chain is vintage and a later pairing (i.e. not an original match to the brooch/pendant).
