Description
Date: c. 1860-80s, Victorian era
Materials: landscape agate, rolled gold (brass core fused with 12-14k gold surface)
Weight: 25 grams
Bracelet length: 7 inches (17.8 cm)
Bracelet diameter: 2.1 inches (5.3 cm)
Width of Bracelet: 18 mm
Dimension of each panel: 24.8 x 18 mm
Condition: Due to age and wear, the gold surface (while intact at flat surfaces) has worn away around corners and edges. One of the agate panels has a small “u” shaped internal inclusion that looks like a chip or crack, but isn’t actually surface-reaching. There is general age-related surface wear to the agate and gold surface (normal, expected wear; nothing major to note, as the agate panels are still glossy and free from damage). Overall, this bracelet is in excellent antique condition.
