Ring size: USA 5, UK J, EU 49 (can up resized up or down 2 full sizes — please read FAQ section at bottom of page for more info)
Materials: natural earth-mined diamonds, solid 15k gold (unmarked; tested with nitric & muriatic acid, neodymium magnet)
Weight: 5.3 grams
Diameter of cluster ring face: 12 – 13 mm
Height of ring face: 7.6 mm
Diameter of diamonds: one at 3.5 mm, six at ~ 3 mm, size at ~ 2 mm (approx. 0.8 – 1 ctw)
[please note that old mine cuts are formed by hand and are thus irregular in shape; without taking the diamonds off their settings, any carat estimation is only a rough estimate.]
Approx. color of diamonds: center JK, one LM, the rest HI
Approx. clarity of diamonds: center I, the rest VS
Width of shank: 2.3 – 3.7 mm
Thickness of shank: 1.2 – 2 mm
Condition: under 60x loupe magnification, I can spot a shallow chip to the corner of a facet in the center diamond (difficult to spot with naked eye). Two of the halo diamonds have a very tiny “fleabite” nick to a facet edge (invisible to naked eye). There are some minor losses to the black enamel. Some expected age-wear to the gold surface. Otherwise this ring is in good antique condition.
